I created this recipe to couple with my video Natural Ways to Ease PMS. Bananas are such a powerful fruit containing so many nutrients, it is definitely a inexpensive food to add into your rotation to get fiber, manganese, and a melatonin hit to help you sleep better just to mention a few. Bananas are also a GREAT ingredient base when you want to make a guilt free desert. Here is one of my go-to sweet smoothies to combat throwing my healthy eating out the window. Quick, easy, automatic way to satisfy your biggest sweet tooth.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup nut milk of your choice (I used organic non GMO soy)
1 medium frozen banana
5 dates (pitted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon
*for a variation you can add 1 tbl of peanut butter to this
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. This serves 1 diligent person wanting something sweet, but not wanting to derail their diet. Sit back and enjoy while admiring your willpower.
