This cheese comes together in just a few minutes, and can be used as a veggie dip, over pasta, spread on a tortilla, or any other dish you’d like to make a little cheesier.
Quick Stovetop Cheese makes about 3/4 cups
INGREDIENTS
• 3/4 cups thick unsweetened plant milk, such as oat milk, organic soy milk, or canned coconut milk
• 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
• 1 tsp miso paste
• 2 tbsp arrowroot powder or tapioca flour
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and whisk together over medium heat until combined. Turn down to low, and continue to whisk frequently for another 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes more elastic and to your desired consistency.

plant milk is typically not thick. Which plant milk tastes best with this cheese sauce. I prefer not to use coconut milk because of the saturated fat content in coconut milk.
